Toby Bogard's 1,000,000 Pound Challenge

Toby Bogard’s 1,000,000 Pound Challenge

What do you do when you have an industry where a significant number are overweight and in many cases even obese?

You can change the laws and maybe even threaten their livelihood, but how do you change a mindset? This is what one driver decided to do for himself and for his peers: CHALLENGE himself and others within the trucking industry.

Toby Bogard has been a Con-way Truckload driver for over ten years now has gone on a personal journey to become healthy after a visit to his Doctor 2 years ago.The “doc” gave him “food for thought” regarding his need for better health and personal wellness. His challenge? To lose weight and obtain a healthier lifestyle, all while staying on the road as a full time long haul trucker.

It wasn’t easy, but Toby managed to lose almost 40 pounds and get into great shape all while staying active as an OTR driver.Toby’s physical transformation has been well documented on his Facebook page.

The Challenging Question: If one 40 year old long haul trucker can do it why can’t others? Which lead to another question: How to motivate others within the industry to be inspired and passionate about their own health and wellness?

That’s where the 1,000,000 POUND CHALLENGE comes in! Simply put, the 1,000,000 POUND CHALLENGE is a competition where drivers can go to the Facebook 100000PoundChallenge Fanpage and register for this personal competition and wellness journey. Registration is easy and minimal information is required, nothing too personal. There is also a Facebook group where a driver can become a member and receive support.

The 1,000,000 POUND CHALLENGE has two basic purposes:

1. To motivate, educate and inspire drivers to lose weight and acquire a healthier lifestyle;
2. To provide a support group for driver’s who want to become healthy, but maybe who are struggling or just don’t know where to start.

Ultimately the goal is simple: To be inspired and motivated to continue newly acquired healthy habits. In doing so, those drivers will not just feel better, but will have their life back!

Currently Toby is working with a few companies to try and provide prizes for the winners and runners up. His hope is that this challenge will inspire the entire industry (companies and drivers) to take a more active role in health and wellness.

If you have any questions regarding the challenge or would like to help, contact Toby via his personal Facebook page www.facebook.com/tobybogard or email him directly at: truckwriter@gmail.com

Small Business Owners can Legally deduct ALL Health Insurance Premiums and Cost

Owner Operators and small business owner can deduct 100% of ALL of their health insurance premiums, plus 100% of ALL of their out-of-pocket medical, dental, vision, and thousands of other medical related expense items from the gross income of the company

Owner Operators and small business owners can deduct 100% of ALL of their health insurance premiums, plus 100% of ALL of their out-of-pocket medical, dental, vision, and thousands of other medical related expense items from the gross income of the company

If someone was to give you, let’s say $4,000 in exchange for $300 would you say that was a real benefit to you? And if the $300 that you exchanged for the plan came with a 100% money back guarantee would that be even better?

The reality of the current economic times is that most self-employed small business owners are struggling to stay above water; a program that increases their profit would be looked at as a welcome change.

Who would say “no” to increasing their spendable income at no cost? The reason we can make this claim is the fact that the money needed to maintain the plan is generated by the savings derived from installing the plan; therefore, the plan increases income at no cost.

CashBack Medical LLC is a privately held corporation that specializes in cost saving programs for businesses. We have been helping small business owners understand the best way to reduce their taxable income and free up more money to use for the growth of their business.

CashBack Medical, LLC, also believes that Sole Proprietors, Self-Employed Individuals, Partnerships, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, as well as LLC’s, can save thousands of tax dollars by correctly utilizing key sections of the Internal Revenue Code Provisions that are often overlooked.

The US Congress in 1954 enacted various tax laws in order for the small business owner to reduce his/her tax burden associated with ALLhealth and medical care expenses. Unfortunately, the small business owners did not know that this law existed for their benefit and how to take advantage of its purpose.

Under the Internal Revenue Code this US Congress law which is now categorized as an IRS Provision; is named  ‘Section 105’ and ‘Section 106’. This allows the sole proprietor and/or small business owner to deduct 100% of ALL of his/her  health insurance premiums and 100% of ALL his/her out-of-pocket medical, dental, vision and thousand of other medical related items and procedures. You can even deduct your co-payments and deductibles.

Now here is the major mis-understanding!

Under the current tax laws all income spent on health insurance premiums and all out of pocket medical expenses that are deductible on your individual tax returns, are ‘considered  part of your wages’ by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and are subject to mandatory FICA and Medicare taxes of 15.3%- PERIOD!

Through the CashBack Medical Plan income spent on ALL health insurance premiums and ALL out of pocket medical, dental, vision; as well as thousands of other medical expense items are EXCLUDED from being ‘considered part of your wages’ and therefore you pay ZERO TAX. THIS IS THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE!

This provision is not limited to the Sole Proprietor and/or Small Business Owner. For example Corporations like (C or Sub-Chapter S), LLC’s and Partnerships can also qualify. If you are married, and file a Schedule C or Schedule F, and can legitimately employ your spouse, YOU QUALIFY for this provision.

A small business owner can hire an employee and therefore can deduct ALL of his/her health insurance premiums and ALL of his/her out-of-pocket medical expenses under a medical reimbursement plan. The problem is, even though a small business owner can deduct these expenses for the employee, he couldn’t deduct any of his own personal health insurance premiums and out of pocket medical expenses personally; because he/her not considered an employee for tax purposes. However, if they can legitimately employ their spouse, they qualify to take these deductions and save thousands in tax dollars.

Therefore the small business owner can deduct 100% of ALL of their health insurance premiums, plus 100% of ALL of their out-of-pocket medical, dental, vision, and thousands of other medical related expense items from the gross income of the company.

Here is an example of how it applies: If you are married, and file a Schedule C or Schedule F, and can legitimately employ your spouse, YOU NOW QUALIFY. The key component for the small business owner is to hire his spouse. This means that the spouse must be an employee of the company, and actively work a set amount of hours on business related activities.

Cash Back Medical LLC , has created a turnkey system with other professionals in this medical benefits field to support and administer the Plan for the small business owner. This includes our leading national third party administrator FlexFacts LLC. Their services feature the responsibility of ensuring that all health related and medical expenses incurred by the small business owner conform to the rules and provisions set up by the IRS.

The program includes a CBM benefits card that is given  to the small business owner to use. It features a fully automatic process of capturing, substantiating and adjudicating of all health insurance premium payments, and all out of pocket medical, dental, vision and thousands of other medical expense related items at the point of sale at any pharmacy, any clinic, hospital and any medical care professional facilities around the country.

Its been the best-kept secret in the world of tax deductions. Until now.

“Killer Truckers.   The title sends chills down the spine as it depicts a graphic image of an entire industry of big trucks rolling down the highway just waiting for the opportunity to take advantage of the naive and vulnerable, quenching their thirst for murder.

FACT :  In the past forty years, according to the FBI, 459 deaths and 41 attempted homicides are believed to be linked to serial killers who are using the nation’s highways to find and dispose of their victims.

The FBI’s breakdown by state. The agency believes there are currently close to 300 “highway serial killers.”

FACT :  The estimated 300 highway serial killers, conservatively represents only 0.0075% of the professional truck driver population. (Based on 4 Million Active CDL drivers).  So what about the other 99.9925%?  Who are they?

More Facts:

1)  The vast majority of the trucking industry is made up of honest, hard-working Americans who go through painstaking measures to conduct themselves under a code of ethics and safety.
2) Professional Truck Drivers are also victims of violent crime and those numbers are increasing.
3) There needs to be more security at many of the major truck stops. Surveys have indicated, including the most recent National Truck Parking Survey initiated by Hope Rivenburg, that drivers are themselves concerned about their own safety at many of them.
4) Professional Drivers are many time the eyes and ears of these inadequately patrolled truck plazas, reporting crimes and suspicious activity, including the reporting of human trafficking.
5)
The majority of professional drivers are honest, hard-working Americans who go through scrupulous actions to conduct themselves under a high code of ethics and safety

Conclusion:  Trucking is a profession made up of over 4 million active professional drivers who are hard-working, sacrificing life’s luxuries in order to deliver them to others. They work for relatively low wages, living for months at a time in their trucks away from friends and family.

Opportunists of devious crime are drawn to this transient and mobile lifestyle of the professional driver. The lifestyle and profession allows these criminals to be elusive from the law, specifically murderers/serial killers, performing their horrendous acts and to then move on without suspicion or trace.

Investigation Discover Airing Times of "Killer Truckers"

Investigation Discover Airing Times of “Killer Truckers”

On Tuesday, August 13th at 10:00 PM ET,  Investigation Discovery will present a One-Hour Special featuring serial killer long haul truckers.

The Investigation Discovery segment on “Killer Truckers” also filmed integrity filled truckers’ who’s voices represent the true and positive image of the professional driver.

We were honored that the filming segment of “good, decent, hardworking truckers” took place at the 2nd Annual Truck Driver Social Media Convention in Kansas City, MO at Harrah’s Convention Center and was included in the final filming of the show to represent the good side of trucking, which otherwise, would not have even been included in the program.

The convention represents and unites those within trucking who believe in honesty and transparency, the power of social media, and who honor the integrity of the professional driver.

It’s been almost 3 years since we were first introduced to Tony Justice through Barry Allen and David Ayers of Allen and Ayers Productions. Shortly after, Tony was booked as the entertainment for the 1st Annual Truck Driver Social Media Convention which was held at the Gold Strike Hotel in Tunica, MS on Oct 15th 2011.

Since then, much has happened in the life of Singer/Songwriter, Nascar enthusiast, husband, father, and professional truck driver Tony Justice of Tony Justice Music.

Along with being featured in numerous magazines, Tony has performed for the 2012 Hollywood Pre-Grammy Awards Party and engages in numerous radio guests appearances.  He has been  featured on the cover of Trucks and Truckers Magazine, and has been the topic of conversation of many well known trucking blogs and websites.

Todd Dills of Overdrive Magazine will be covering the production of Tony Justices’ latest Album, Apple Pie Moonshine, so we’ll all be anticipating that featured article! (Cover?)

Anticipated articles in Challenge Magazine and TA Road King Magazine are also on the near future list.

Of course, if you ask Tony what his “favorite” accomplishment has been since the Trucking Social Media Convention of 2011, I have a feeling he’ll say it’s his Feb 7th 2012 marriage to his beautiful wife Misty Justice
